Pianists Miho Ohki (Japan) and Estuardo Hernández (Guatemala) embark on a musical journey of how different "home" can mean to everyone of us.
For this they play works by composers Toru Takemitsu, Mariano Valverde, Herculano Alvarado, Yoshinao Nakada, Robert Schumann and Bedrich Smetana.

This is a concert, titled "Home"
he disappears into a different world and starts his own little journey there. attentively he observes the people and landscape and tries to find a way through his thoughts. a snapshot.
this piece is more of a collection of short-lived impressions and fleeting moments. except for the first minute, everything was created spontaneously and sometimes became kind of a training ground for exploring different camera movements.

a young man decides to left his daily life behind for a while
like black lines on a white canvas. a dialouge about existence and purpose, while reality dissolve in the wintry atmosphere. a snapshot.
this piece was filmed in 2015. we made so many mistakes but learned a lot while working on it. the raw cut nearly went forgotten, yet we managed to finished it three years later. it's not perfect, but quite a nice memory.
